If you enjoy unique film experiences and are interested in the cinematic exploration of unconventional sexuality, join us monthly for the Ministry of Freedom’s regular movie screening program!

This event goes beyond the typical movie experience.

Bring out your kinky side, and if you feel like it, your submissive can kneel on a leash beside you while watching the film!
   

This time we’ll be watching:

Basic Instinct

One of the biggest box-office hits of the ’90s is more than just a thriller. Tense eroticism, dominance, intellectual duels, and one of the decade’s most provocative films, featuring one of the most famously paused and replayed scenes of all time. Never before had so much been paid for a screenplay, but its incredible success wasn’t due to the script alone. After a series of actresses—considered sex symbols of the era—turned down the daring lead role, it was the then-little-known Sharon Stone who took it on, instantly skyrocketing to stardom and becoming the ultimate object of desire for years to come. At the club, we will, of course, screen the uncut version, which American censors never allowed in theaters in this form.

The film will be shown in Hungarian, with English subtitles, if needed.

Break

Since the film runs for 2 hours and 7 minutes, we’ll include a 30-minute intermission. During this break, you’ll have the chance to visit the restroom, step outside for a smoke, stretch your legs, or refill your drinks. 

The schedule:

18:00–19:00: Arrival
19:30: Once everyone has their drinks from the bar, we’ll start the film
19:30–20:30: First half of the film
20:30–21:00: Break
21:00–22:00: Second half of the film
22:00: Discussion of the film, followed by free-form conversation, and some social stuff, like drinking, talking, playing, etc., until closing

We’ll discuss what we’ve seen!

At the event, we will have the opportunity to discuss the BDSM and kinky scenes in the film, gaining a deeper understanding of them—within an accepting space where we can openly talk about our own desires and the questions that matter to us, free from taboos.  

A dress-code-free event!

This is rare among our club programs, so we encourage everyone to join us and immerse themselves in the kinky world at their own pace, as well as to get to know the Ministry of Freedom community.

There’s one important rule to note: entrance is only permitted between 6:00-7:00 p.m., and we will close the doors at 7 p.m. sharp to ensure an uninterrupted viewing experience. No late entries will be allowed!
   

Snacks Available!

Like in a real movie theater, we’ll have popcorn, nachos, and cola so you can enjoy the full experience!

However, seating is more limited than in our typical events, so make sure to grab your tickets early!

After the movie, you’ll have the chance to stay until midnight, enjoy a drink, chat, or explore what the space has to offer.
