The term 'munch' is used in BDSM and fetish communities to refer to an informal gathering where people come together to casually chat and get to know others in the community, without necessarily engaging in BDSM or other fetish activities.
Our goal is to create a safe and friendly environment for those who are new to the community or who want to have conversations, share their experiences, and form new friendships.
These gatherings are characterized by free conversations, and there is usually no dresscode.
We strive to share information, experiences, and advice with members of the BDSM and fetish community in a friendly and informal environment.
For example:
Sharing experiences:Participants can share their personal experiences, which can help newcomers navigate the world of BDSM, learn about safety practices, how to use various tools, or establish boundaries.
Expert presentations:Invited experts or more experienced community members may give short presentations or discussions on various topics.
Q&A:Participants can openly ask their questions, which will be answered by more experienced individuals. This helps gain a deeper understanding of the topic.
There are so many ways to open up a relationship that those who are more experienced will immediately ask back when someone says, “I’m in an open relationship”: “OK, so what exactly is your relationship open to? Can you date others separately? Can you fall in love with someone else? Can you do anything you want? How much do you tell each other about it?”
Alongside the concept of swingers, a number of new terms have emerged over the past decade — from polyamory to ethical non-monogamy — which can partly overlap but still refer to different things. What makes this even harder to define is the multitude of individual relationship models and sets of rules, which can be difficult to navigate, especially since even couples who identify as monogamous aren’t always consistent about where they draw the line for monogamy.
The participants of the roundtable discussion will talk about the relationship models they have experienced, sharing their personal journeys, choices, the positives and the challenges they have faced along the way.
